    One of the main features that sets all Allied Bead Locks apart is their unique locking ring.  The outside edge is rolled for increased strength, whereas the competitions are flat.  This gives a more uniform clamping force around the bead and also provides a surface that does not cut the sidewall when the tire is pinched between the bead lock and a rock.
