FAQ's

Can I use the stock hood?
Yes  - Most installations have been done using the stock hood with no issues. The stock hood is trimmed to fit the new location of the higher fender line, the cut edge can then be dressed using simple edge trim for a clean stock appearance.  We've run cut hoods for a few years now and have found no concerns with durability or strength.

Can I use an AEV Hood?
Yes -The AEV HighLine Hood can be used with our tube fender kit.

Do I have to re-use my stock inner fenders?
Absolutely not! -Our complete kit comes with new inner fenders. Hacking up your stock fenders is not needed. You can save big $'s by selling your stock fenders in the aftermarket. 

Is there room for accesories under the hood?
Yes - there is a ton of room available on the new inner fenders. However; you will have to locate and mount your accessories in a manner that works best for you. We do not pre-locate mounting positions because every vehicle has different under hood requirements . We do recommend using a smaller aftermarket windshield washer bottle and either an aftermarket air intake or installation of a simple cone style filter. 

What about the battery?
Our inner fender kit comes with a new battery tray that allows you to re-locate the battery in as close to the stock location as possible, yet still allow us to maintain huge wheel well clearance. It will work with Optima batteries and all batteries of roughly the same size. 

Is the kit hard to assemble?
Anyone with a welder and a grinder can assemble this kit. It really is that easy, we've done all the heavy lifting in the design department, material sourcing, and precise manufacturing of the parts. By using your jeep as the fixture you are assured the fit will be correct. You also save money on labor you can easily do yourself, and get the job done to your level of satisfaction.
