Designed and built with an integrated winch mount, there is no additional winch mount to buy, saving you money and un-needed weight. Your winch sits lower providing maximum airflow to your radiator and a lower center of gravity. Aftermarket winch plates alone can weigh 25#'s and cost up to $200, as well as position your winch 2-3" higher than the frame rails.
The Mercenary™ is made from 1/4" steel that is laser cut and CNC formed for extreme precision and durability. The ramped face and swept back sides provide excellent approach angles and an unobstructed tire contact path. The winch tube guard is made from .120 wall 1 3/4" DOM tubing, not cheap HREW tubing.
The Mercenary™ utilizes our super solid Shackle-Lock™ design to secure both recovery points so that they physically cannot be pulled through the front face, even if there were no welds. They are however fully TIG welded around the front, the inside, inside top, and inside bottom for incredible strength.
Two fairlead mounts are available, one a fully custom TIG welded mount, and the other a bolt on. The custom TIG welded option is a 3 piece design that is very strong and provides a totally unique look to your Mercenary™. The bolt on mount can be added at a later time if no winch is going to be mounted right away.
Other details include a drilled and tapped face for easy license plate mounting. There are two light mounting options at each end of the bumper allowing different sized lights to be placed in their optimal location. There are two additional light mounts on the winch deck allowing lights to be run in place of the winch.
All Mercenaries are shipped bare steel.
Optional Upper Light Mount is fully TIG welded and has multiple mount locations to position different size lights.
D-Rings/Shackles pictured are sold separately.
Mercenary™ Front Bumper is for TJ and LJ models only.

Awsome Review by MIke R.
Perfect precision.. they even welded in nuts for the license plate:)
I took this with the fairlead mount as i wanted to do my own tube work slightly differently but basically the same.
With all the bends and welds there is absolutely no flex at the front of the gp when winching as i have seen on other jeeps and full sized equipment with just a 3/8" plate or c channel bolted to the top of the frame.
Yes! definitely bolt on the winch first after paint... ask me how i know ... and i knew it b4 i ever started and still .....
its been on for about a year . (Posted on 5/19/2015)
Amazing Bumper! Review by Charter
Unfortunately, this wasn't the first bumper I had purchased for my TJ. I wish I had ordered from ROKMEN in the beginning but I must have been possessed. Now I know better! Their craftsmanship and quality made the other "top" brands look like something your kid brings home from shop class...in the first grade. (Posted on 2/11/2015)
Awesome Review by Mrchips
The workmanship is next to none. I got it raw and unpainted and I was blown away by the fabrication. I have it on my 06 LJ Rubi and have a Warn 9.5 Xp bolted to it. Has performed above expectations, and for the price cant beat it. I highly recommend this bumper for your Jeep, it really gives it a tough appearance. (Posted on 9/10/2012)
one well built product! Review by Dustin Kilcrease
This bumper is amazing. Works great with my warn winch and the welds are very stout. I have had alot of pressure on this bumper using the winch and pulling trees out of the way and no problem at all. (Posted on 5/1/2012)

Great Product ~ Great Service Review by Robert
Very happy with this bumper. I ordered it with the hoop and custom fairlead. The welds and the design are awesome. Better than I would have ever imagined. This was not my first Rokmen purchase, and it won't be my last. I shop here first!! (Posted on 4/10/2012)

Great bumper Review by Joe
Very happy with this bumper. Works great with my superwinch epi9.0. Rokmen is on the top of my list when I need parts for my jeep. If they make what I need I buy it. Great quality and awesome customer service. (Posted on 7/11/2011)
Incredibly well made bumper Review by QADaemon
Everything on this bumper is very precise. Very easy bolt-up other than the weight if you have a winch mounted on it. The only real problem I had was having to trim a bit of the case on a Warn PowerPlant winch to clear the front tube. I would have liked having new bolts provided, but a trip to the hardware store isn't that big of a deal to eliminate the star-head stock ones. Instructions would have been nice too, just to know a recommended order of things (winch to bumper->bumper to frame->sway bar->lights->wiring is likely the best). I got ahead of myself getting the power lines run which made dealing with the sway bar and lights difficult. (Posted on 5/7/2011)
I would like to tow my jeep with my BlueOx towbar. What is the spacing between the shackles (From center to center)? What is the thickness of shackles?
Posted byon Wednesday 3rd of October 2012William, People connect tow bars to the shackle mounts all the time. Each situation is a little unique depending on the bar being used. I believe you may have called earlier and everything you needed was answered. If not feel free to call us. 303-907-6303
